Samples of Successful Proposals
Community buy-in is essential to establishing an Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR) chapter at your school. What this looks like varies between institutions. Many have found it successful to draft and submit proposals to different stakeholders in their community.
Preparing to submit a proposal to your college’s administration, student and/or faculty governance, your professor, or club members may seem like a daunting challenge at first, especially when considering your workload during the semester. Reviewing successful proposals can help you determine what needs to be emphasized and provide you with a guide to follow to ensure the success of your mobilizing efforts!
Here is a list of sample proposals submitted by various ECAR Chapters:

Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania is a private liberal arts college with approximately 2500 students. It is located in a small city that is close to both the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas.

Agnes Scott in Decatur, Georgia is a private women’s liberal arts college. It has 1000 students and is within a major metropolitan area, northeast of Atlanta.

University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a private research university based in Tulsa, a medium sized city. It was combined undergraduate and graduate student population of about 3,740.
